Afternoon and Evening Smokey Eye

Thursday, February 26, 2015

Hi guys, today I created a everyday smokey eye with brown, black and gold colors. I used some drugstore products, and some of MAC cosmetics. This smokey eyes is super easy to do, and you can rock it in the afternoon, and evening. Personally, I wouldn't do a smokey eye like this one in the morning since I'm rushing to get things done, I have no time. But, I do love smokey eyes makes your eyes look bigger, brighter, and even sexier (lol).

What I used:

1. Foundation: Rimmel lasting finish - 103 True ivory
2. Concealer: Studio Finish NW 15
3. Powder: Milani- 03 Natural
4. Brows: Anastasia Beverly hills -Bold & Beautiful kit
5. Eyeshadow: The Nudes By Maybelline New York (I only used these 4 eyeshadows)
For my whole crease I used the light brown
My lower lid I used a different eyeshadow and is  from MAC- Chilled on ice Paint pot
For my outer lid I used the darker brown blended it in and then use a little bit of Black to give it that smokey eye look.
The white I just used it to highlight underneath my eyebrows.

6. Eyeliner: Eye studio By Maybelline New York
7. Bronzer: Natural bronzer by Rimmel
8. Highlighter: My favorite Soft and Gentle Mineralize Skin finish By MAC
9. Mascara: The Rocket By Maybelline New York
10. Blush: MAC
11. Lipstick: Loreal Limited edition Nude J'lo

Tip Number 1: Makeup is art and you have to play with it in order to achieve the look you want. It doesn't take a day or two to become good at applying makeup specially learning to do a smokey eye and the ultimate one the famous winged eyeliner. It takes tons of practice, right brushes and the right cosmetics that fits best with you. I'm here to help you learn. Soon I will make video tutorials on makeup. I will let you guys know when. Hope you guys liked it.

My drugstores foundations

Tuesday, February 24, 2015

Hey guys, I hope that if you live in the Eastern of the United States you're all nice and warm, because it's FREEZING! I just can't wait for spring. Today I wanted to show you a few different drugstores foundations I use. I love foundation because it helps cover up my blemishes, and is used to help with uneven skin tones. I have three different foundations that I love, and frequently buy. Usually I use these foundation on a every day basis. First and most importantly before using the foundation please apply to your face moisturizer. Is extremely important that moisturize since it helps with oily skin, dry, combination or normal. My face is dry, so I use a moisturizer to keep it nice and soft. I will talk about moisturizer on another blog post.

Rimmel London is currently the one I've been using for the past two weeks. So far it gives me a good finish and covers up my blemishes.

NYX in shade Soft beige This is my absolute favorite foundation it gives me absolute full coverage and the finish is amazing. I ran out of it and I need to purchased another one.

L'oreal paris True match shade W3 When I 1st started using foundations this is the 1st foundation I started with.
This is the brush I use to apply my foundation, It's a Duo fiber brush nice and soft for your face.

You only need just a little of foundation, Trust me a little bit goes a long way.
Ladies and Gentlemen my face is not perfect. I have dark circles, Dry skin and blemishes. But with the foundation it covers alot of it. Just a little dots with your brush throughout your entire face.

After, with your brush just do circle rotations on your face, until you have applied the foundation too your entire face.

For picking up a foundation that works for you, Just try it on your hands. And see if it matches your skin tone. Picking up foundation is not easy trust me I've been there. But after a few practices you'll get the hang of it. So this is it, these are my favorite drugstore foundations and how I start the process of my daily looks. Hope you guys liked it. What else would you guys want to see on the blog?

Lipstick: L'oreal 590 Blushing berry

Hey guys, Im home just looking out the window and staring at the snow. (IM SICK OF THIS WEATHER) Does anyone else feel my pain?, I can't wait for spring!! Well just wanted to post this picture from last weekend, I love how my makeup came out and most definitely I'm in love with L'oreals lipsticks. This one cost around $8 at a drugstore near me, and I just love the color of it. This is what my daily makeup looks like, I just usually change the lipsticks color depending on my mood, and clothes. My outfit is just leggings and a shirt I bought at Joyce leslie not to long ago. As well as the headband which actually cost me $2 (What a Great Deal). On my next post It will be a review on some of the makeup products I use.  Hope you guys are having a good weekend.

One of my favorites lipsticks is Candy Yum Yum by: MAC. I have a collections of mac lipsticks and this one  is one of my top favorites ( I have a few).  One of the tips I want to share is that to make your eyes look bigger, brighter and more open is to use a white liner for your water line. Trust me the results will amaze you.
